I always wondered as a child, did John Candy know his name adorned the front of the English football league champions, Liverpool? Probably not. But in my mind they have always been connected. Here the great man is wearing the shirt in all his glory in arguably his greatest role, Uncle Buck. And poetically both film and shirt appeared in the same year, 1989.
